Wolves and Humans Getting Along by Kevin Bastarache

"I was shooting from my car. Both Alphas walked within 5 feet from the car and the Big Black one was in front of my bumper...We just have to keep up the hard work, and they are VERY important for the ecosystem."

This video shows about seven wolves peacefully trotting past the photographer. Rather than kill these magnificent animals, the relatives of the dogs that keep us company, filming them is a great way to interact. While many states want to allow people to shoot wolves and destroy the wolf families, keeping these animals wild and free not only helps the wolves, but helps us. While many game hunters come to the Pacific Northwest to slaughter wolf packs, it seems more visitors and residents would rather observe the wolves in nature, and help keep the wolves, humans, and farm animals safe.
