It's so important!"
"Please come to the Spokane hearing!"
Wednesday

4-8 PM. Doors open at 4; hearing starts at 5.
Spokane Convention Center
334 West Spokane Falls, Spokane, WA
"For
Spokane
,
coal export could mean up to 40 coal trains daily and more delay in completing the connection
between Highway 395 and Interstate 90
as tens of millions of transportation dollars are diverted
from
projects urgently needed to make way for coal trains.
Many other
communities
along the rail chute already also face rail crossings that cause long traffic delays.
Historically, taxpayers have footed most of the bill.
Both local and state tax dollars pay for transportation projects.
All of us will pay for
Peabody and Arch Coal’s giant coal chute."
UNLESS WE STOP THE COAL TRAINS
